Driver Lead

US Logistics Solutions is looking for a capable and dedicated individual to work as a Driver Lead. The ideal candidate will be overseeing a team of Class B and non-cdl drivers. A handheld scanner is utilized to capture data on all cartons and deliveries must be made in specified windows. Must be able to keep a steady pace while operating safely and provide a professional and positive experience for our customers.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Coordinating the arrival of the linehaul to loadout trucks for the day.
• Verify proper paperwork is received for deliveries and scanners are properly loaded.
• Provide any support back to terminal for follow up on deliveries, HR items, etc.
• Be able to conduct interviews when needed and complete new hire needs.
• Will attend a class for driver trainer.
• Needs to be Class B

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Class B driver’s license
• 6 months verifiable driving experience in the past 3 years
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• No more than 2 violation convictions within the past 36 months and no more than 2 preventable accidents within the past 3 years
