Squirrel Hill Health Center (SHHC), a dynamic and growing Federally Qualified Health Center in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Driver to join our team. SHHC’s Mobile Unit brings primary care medical services to underserved populations throughout Allegheny County, where patients have difficulty accessing primary care services.
Responsibilities –
- Operate and drive 32-foot mobile medical unit (MMU) to various Allegheny County locations as part of a primary care community outreach program; pick up MMU from and drop off to the garage on mobile clinic days
- Provide security presence during MMU clinic hours of operation
- Assist with MMU basic maintenance and upkeep, such as refueling, inspections, etc
- Other duties as required
Qualifications –
- COVID & FLU vaccines, including boosters, required
- FBI Fingerprint & Act 33/34 Clearances
- Minimum 1 year of experience driving passenger van, bus, RV, or similar vehicle
- Current PA driver’s license &/or CDL; willingness to complete 7-day training class if necessary (paid for by SHHC)
- No infractions on driving record within the past 3 years
- Basic knowledge of motor vehicle repair & maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to drive to & from sites in all weather conditions
- Availability to work on various Saturdays/Sundays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
