Swiftway Services Llc in Columbia, MD is looking for one driver/mover to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working. We are urgently hiring for our Professional Moving team! Our mission is to take the pain out of moving by becoming the most reliable local moving team. We build relationships through community, reliability, and reputation and we are looking for Professional Mover team members who can embody that every day and with every client. No experience required to apply - we train every member of our team on high-level communication skills, logistics and efficiency.

Responsibilities

*Properly packing and loading and unloading client’s items into truck. *Wrapping and unwrapping furniture with tape and shrink wrap. *Light disassembling and reassembling of furniture, ensuring customer satisfaction. *Requires the stamina to lift heavy items (100 lbs or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing,

kneeling, crouching, walking for extended periods of time , etc.

*Excellent customer service skills, professional attitude and demeanor *Good hand-eye coordination *Working in all weather conditions, hot or cold, snow or rain, both indoor and outdoor, early

mornings, and have a positive, can-do attitude while doing so every day all day

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire and have a minimum of two years of driving

experience

Must have a valid driver's license

Must have a current Motor Vehicle Record with no more than the moving violations and no more than

two preventable accidents within the past twelve month period

Must not have any convictions or citations for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs with the previous three to five year period

Must be able to obtain a DOT card

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $17.00 - $20.00/hour.
