TENICA is looking to hire a Driver with a Secret clearance.
The position is located in Washington, DC. To be considered an applicant for this job, all candidates must have an active DOD Secret Clearance, and be at least 25-years of age.
We are seeking a qualified candidate with a DOD Secret Clearance to provide full-time transportation services for Government personnel, packages, parcels, burn materials, and boxes weighing not more than 70 pounds. These services are to be provided primarily within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA) and occasionally outside the WMA.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide on-time, safe, quality driver services for client personnel within the WMA, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia
- Transport special messenger, classified, and or sensitive material packages to various destinations within the WMA
- Operate various vehicles such as sedans and vans
- Maintain a very good working knowledge of the streets and locations in the National Capitol Region (NCR) and surrounding areas within Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure they are clear of personal items
- Maintain driver manifest, passenger and package trip logs
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 25-years of age as required by the insurance provider
- Active DoD SECRET clearance
- Minimum of 3 years of experience performing the duties of a Driver / Chauffeur in the Washington, DC metropolitan area
- Valid state issued driver’s license
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift parcels, bags and/or boxes up to 70 lbs.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner
