Our residential program is looking for Direct Support Professionals who thrive working with people of all abilities. The majority of the position requires direct care and support, but there will also be an emphasis on tending to administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be a team player who wants to make a lasting difference in the lives of the people they support and can maintain a professional relationship with our supervisors, clients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to inquiries from family members, social service professionals and others.
• Plan, schedule, supervise and participate in resident activities.
• Supervise staff in the delivery of individual care and services.
• Provide or assist with personal care needs.
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living such as eating, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Provide a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Set up and maintain resident files;.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Branchburg, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• DSP: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
