The Earle School District is accepting applications for paraprofessionals (classroom aides) for the 2022-2023 school year. Paraprofessionals assist the teacher in the preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements, working under the supervision of a certified teacher. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrate a relentless commitment to the academic achievement of all students.Maintain professional behavior, appearance, and work ethic to represent the school in a positive manner at all times.Articulate a positive image of the school and personnel.Assist the teacher in preparing instructional materials, classroom displays, and instructional activities.Work with individual students or small groups to conduct instructional exercises assigned by the teacher.Assist with the administration and scoring of objective testing instruments or work assignments.Assist in supervising students throughout the school day, both inside and outside the classroom, including cafeteria, bus duty, and playground.Keep the teacher informed of any special needs or problems of individual students.Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly classroom.Assist in inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.Assist the teacher in keeping administrative records and preparing required reports.Communicate positively with students, parents, visitors and staff.Maintain a positive attitude and represent the school in a positive manner at all times.Effectively and positively communicate orally and in writing.Other duties as assigned by principals.WORKING CONDITIONS:colinoncars.com is the go-to platform for job seekers looking for the best job postings from around the web.
