O’Neill Service Group (OSG), an Atlas company, is a leading provider of Environmental and Construction Quality Assurance Solutions on Large-scale Transportation, Infrastructure and Commercial Projects in the Pacific Northwest.We are seeking an entry level Environmental Technician to join our Redmond, WA team!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ecological work activities including supporting NEPA, SEPA, Permitting, Wetland, Tree and Fish Exclusion Scopes.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Biology, Ecology, Botany, Geology, Engineering, or other related fields.
Zero (0) to five (5) years of professional experience.
Education or experience with stormwater, geology, engineering, biology, or other related field.
Ability to spend between a week and a month at a time on location conducting field work.
Technical Requirements:
Successful candidates will thrive as part of a multidisciplinary team working on environmental documentation, permitting, and construction monitoring for transportation and restoration projects in the Pacific Northwest.
Conduct field work for up to a month at a time.
Develop technical reports and plans needed for permitting and construction compliance.
Experience developing figures, charts, and table utilizing Excel and Bluebeam.
Experience delineating wetlands, evaluating trees, evaluating streams, and monitoring construction work is desired.
Other miscellaneous qualities:
Experience using field equipment
Knowledge of related environmental science fields such as contaminated soil and groundwater a plus but not necessary.
Ability to work independently
Positive, flexible team-oriented approach
Detail oriented, resourceful
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (40-50%).
