Pet Food Express is seeking a creative and driven marketing professional to join our team. The Ecommerce Marketing Manager is a critical leader in shaping the customer site experience for Pet Food Express; managing promotions, product launches, flows, category pages, landing pages, SEO etc. Reporting to the Director of Creative and Store Design and supervising the Online Product Marketing Coordinator, this role is our in-house expert on all things Ecommerce, working to optimize the customer experience of our web store through continuous testing and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and seasonal activities and implement timelines that support merchandising and marketing strategies through site execution for assigned brands and products.
• Work collaboratively with Merchandising, Marketing, Creative and IT teams to support the strategic planning, testing, creation, and timely and efficient implementation of all Ecommerce related launches and initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and manage success of Marketing campaigns related to delivery and other web-based services. Align with the Marketing team on roadmap, create and manage ecommerce marketing calendar.
• Understand and respond to the Marketing team KPIs related to products, services, and content.
• Identify SEO optimization opportunities on Petfood.express and implement changes to help drive organic traffic.
• Supervise, coach and develop the Online Product Marketing Coordinator, who supports with product set up execution, product maintenance, and content updates on-site.
• Demonstrate and share a strong understanding on how customers shop online and use strategic thinking and innovation to create a seamless and fresh site experience for our customers.
• Strategically monitor and analyze online traffic flow, customer behavior, click through rates of campaigns, best selling products, and more, to advise on opportunities for growth and optimal organization of the PFE site.
• Plan and implement product collections, pages, content and promotional updates, and featured shops based on inventory needs and marketing priorities. Own web processes and partner with IT Team to ensure flawless execution.
• Manage online delivery relationships through all partner sites, including DoorDash and Amazon, ensuring partner sites are on brand and products catalog is current.
• Advise on growth opportunities for partner delivery sites, helping bring PFE to the forefront of web-based pet food+supply delivery.
• Monitor and ensure pricing strategies are carried out successfully on our site and partner sites, including promos, discounts, and looking at MAP for key items on competitor sites.
• Demonstrate and share in-depth understanding of brand promotion and product knowledge.
• Provide support on Marketing projects and events as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5 - 7 years experience in marketing or relevant field with experience in e-commerce, website and online marketing.
• 2+ years leadership experience and management effectiveness to engage, support and develop employees through feedback, evaluation, and coaching.
• Clear and effective communication, active listening skills and ability to adapt communication style to the needs of audience and/or situation.
• Exceptional organization, attention to detail, accuracy and sense of urgency approach.
• Strong interpersonal skills, highly collaborative, able to build and maintain positive working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive workplace culture, providing appreciation and recognition, and understanding individual strengths of team members.
• Ability to effectively cope with and support others through change and ambiguity, and remain calm and focused in pressure situations.

• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for pet products.
• Strong project management skills, with demonstrated success managing multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, email and business communication applications (Slack, Teams, Zoom) required.
• Strong understanding of BigCommerce and website development preferred.
• SEO experience.

The salary range for this position is expect to be $110,000 - $130,000/yr. Pet Food Express determines starting salary based on many factors, including but not limited to, local market rate, the qualified pool of candidates, internal compensation practices, a candidate’s actual skills and experience, and budget constraints.
