The eCommerce & Website System Administrator serves as the company expert on the eCommerce and website software platforms and will perform a variety of technical, administrative, and marketing duties to support and grow the solution and achieve the most optimal customer experience. This role interfaces with the IT team, who will be responsible for integrations with existing systems, such as ERP, CRM, and future Marketing Automation solutions.

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

· Manage site settings and setup for the website, including account management, catalog, integrations, order management, search, shipping, and system settings

· Administration of customers and users of the website and eCommerce platform.

· Provide training and support for the customer service team in their role of first-line customer support with the eCommerce platform.

· Train and mentor additional marketing staff on the workings of the eCommerce and Content Management Systems (CMS).

· Manage carts, orders, payment methods, and shipping methods

· Administration for products, categories, attributes, and price matrix, including integrations for products, pricing, and inventory with Oracle EBS. Verify and maintain settings and pricing between the EBS system and the eCommerce catalog.

· Administration for website media, templates, lists, translations, email, and messages

· Set up and maintain shipping carriers and shipping methods

· Manage Website content using the CMS to add/modify content on pages and create new pages as required.

· Manage integrations between Oracle EBS and Website, in coordination with the Sunnen IT team, including the proper set up of new products to be orderable on the Website. Monitor application, job, and audit logs. Verify the accuracy of information through troubleshooting and testing.

· Manage and administer the technologies required for the website's ongoing operation, including hosting, patching, upgrades, language translations, SEO, and site certificates.

· Manage changes and updates to system operations as required by changes in requirements or scope

· Work with vendor support teams to resolve any system issues

· Work with the sales and marketing staff on Website and eCommerce strategy and enhancements

· Serve as the project manager/liaison with Sunnen’s web development partners responsible for enhancements or customizations to the eCommerce system, using the partner’s project management system for logging and resolving issues.

· Serve as the project manager/liaison with Sunnen’s digital agencies that assist with site production, search optimization, and design within the content management system.

· Coordinate with product management, marketing, and engineering to ensure continued enhancements and product and category data updates.

· Coordinate all regular code updates with the Ecommerce/CMS provider, web development partner, and Sunnen to remain up to date and in compliance with the cloud-based solution’s required update schedule. Coordinate testing and troubleshooting of all updates and revisions to ensure continued website operation.

· Manage promotional programs within the eCommerce solution for driving sales.

· Play a lead role in optimizing Sunnen’s email marketing program, coordinating eCommerce-driven email, newsletters, and targeted emails to Sunnen’s various customer segments. Monitor and track email campaign results and promotions related to the eCommerce solution.

· Be willing to create site content as required to keep the website updated and fresh.

Education:

Requires broad knowledge of a discipline equivalent to a complete college or university education or a combination of education and experience to fulfill the duties of the position.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years experience working with eCommerce and site administration or a similar position.

Minimum Requirements:

Strong knowledge of enterprise-level eCommerce platforms, preferably Optimizely (formerly Episerver/Insite Commerce)

In-depth knowledge of translating business needs into software specifications

Excellent computer skills, including strong EXCEL proficiency

Basic knowledge of CSS

Strong knowledge of HTML

Experience with Website administration, creation, and development (WordPress, etc.)

Strong project management skills

Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of appropriate software programs and their effective application to the position.

Strong knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
Strong knowledge of website development and design best practices

Knowledge of or ability to learn SQL and database structures
Skilled in website creation/development, including proficiency in CMS, SEO, and site certificates

Strong writing skills & general copywriting for the Web is a plus

Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, etc.) a plus

Manufacturing processes experience preferred.

Ability to understand technical information and distill accordingly, including tailoring the value proposition and messaging for various audiences.

Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written or oral form.

Ability to effectively work and interact with others.

Must maintain a high level of cooperation and communication in dealings with others, both internal and external to the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
