This position is responsible for developing methods and performing analysis for the national park research projects
Duties
developing methods and measures and performing analysis in In-Park/Management Unit Visitor Studies, Personnel and Partner Studies, Regional Economic Impact and Economic Welfare Studies, Recreation, Transportation and Carrying Capacity Studies, Non-Visitor Studies, and Peer Review Management for national park management
Qualifications
A graduate level trained resource economist in social welfare measures in non-market economics. Economist must demonstrate awareness through previous experience in natural resource issues in protected areas as it relates to human use/consumption, its impacts to recreation experience, and local and regional economics as a result of proposed rulemaking to phase out commercial consumptive use.
