What You Will Do In Your Role

• Support and maintain Electrical CAD standards in conjunction with Engineering input.
• Support creation of CAD Manual for cross training and uniform output from the Team and organization.
• Work with CAD designers to develop proper techniques and tools to prepare technical drawings for permitting, bidding, construction, and conceptual design details.
• Log issues with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and work with relevant teams to drive solutions.
• Coordinate with the engineers and designers to ensure stakeholders satisfaction with projects.
• Create drawings and models from verbal and written specification from engineering team or supervisor.
• Review drawings from others for completeness and accuracy.
• Assess potential new uses of AutoCAD/Civil 3D within the organization.
• Bring new ideas to help improve throughput for the design team.
  

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• AutoCAD or Civil 3D experience
• Understanding of Autodesk products and CAD standards implementation
• Experience with 2D and 3D modeling, such as BIM
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  

What Will Put You Ahead

• Knowledge of LISP, .NET, Python or Dynamo programming
• Knowledge of template drawings, sheet-set manager, and smart-blocks
