ELECTRICAL Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:

Specify, design, and implement Control systems for new and existing equipment

Support new equipment being developed.

Design schematics, controls
-
Improve the reliability of electrical distribution
-
Manage Power Panel construction
-
Develop a plan and schedule for major outages and also support the area
-
maintenance personnel with technical expertise and training to enable them to maintain, repair and improve the reliability of their electrical equipment.
-
Provide Maintenance Engineering Support to assigned Business Areas which would include troubleshooting problems and developing and executing plans to address issues that may arise with electrical and instrument equipment.
-
Actively identifying opportunities for improvement in order to achieve specific maintenance goals and objectives. The individual will also participate in a complex-wide effort to ensure consistency of approaches, methods and measures for maintenance activities.
Qualifications
-
A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is prefered.
-
5 years of industrial experience and direct experience working with voltages and equipment from 24VDC up to and including 13.8KV.

The candidate should have knowledge of switchgear, rectification, relaying, DCS systems,

AB PLC’S and Ladder Logic. AB Motion Equipment

Able to design CAD Schematics with protective measures.

Able to understand manufacturer schematics and drawings.

HMI software such as Panel view.
