Compensation and Benefits:

• The pay range is between 100,000-115,000 annually, commensurate with experience!

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with background in engineering.
• 1-5 years’ experience in a technical field that includes documenting work such as test technician.
• Candidate must be experienced in general computer skills such as file management.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs is required.
• The successful candidate will have an interest and background in engineering environments such as work in an engineering firm, test laboratory, fabrication facility, or other technical environment.
• This position requires the ability to manage electronic files, accurately log and keep track of technical documents, and work with team members to ensure that files and documents are handled in accordance with procedures and guidelines.

Under the supervision of engineering staff, responsibilities include:

• Developing hardware assembly and wiring diagrams for control and data acquisition systems.
• Implementing control system software designs that include control of temperature, pressure, humidity, flow, force, motion of mechanisms, system safety, human safety, and other advanced process and electromechanical systems.
• Developing control system software in PLC ladder logic, function block, HMI programming, etc.
• Supporting hardware assembly and fabrication.
• Performing facility startup, checkout, and commissioning, both domestically and abroad.
• Maintain logs of files coming in and going out from the project team.
• Assist team members in locating documents and ensuring use of most current versions
• Communicate with clients and management regarding status.
• Coordinate with other engineering discipline and departments to ensure success.

ADA Notations Include:

• Maneuver in and around facility equipment for field measurements or troubleshooting
• Proximity to extreme temperature variations and rotating equipment
• Exposure to high noise levels
• Proximity to electrical circuits up to 480VAC
• Special clothing/equipment may include appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including eye protection, hearing protection, arc flash protection, etc.

Summary: Under the routine guidance of supervisory staff, the Development Engineering for Controls and Data Acquisition Systems will assist in design and development of various systems. Effective communication, a good work ethic, and the ability to take instruction are preferred skills for this position. Candidate must be able to work as a team in a fast-paced environment. Pay rates are commensurate with experience.
