As the Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will perform installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on several electrical equipment and devices. You will report to the Assistant Manager, Engineering.
Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on several electrical equipment and devices.
  • Develop maintenance plans to help eliminate equipment failures and increase reliability.
  • Install communications cables for computers, communication systems and security devices throughout the Bank.
  • Read meters and record readings to improve the maintenance and to monitor power supply equipment.
  • Monitor and operate the Bank's high voltage (up to 13.8kV) service switches and conducts shut down operations during construction, alteration, maintenance, and emergency response situations.
  • Confer with engineers on construction projects and oversee outside contractors to support electrical equipment.
  • Interpret and implement specifications, blueprints, technical manuals, and data to ensure operation of systems.
  • Program, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain the computer equipment and applications to monitor Bank facilities for proper electrical standards, energy management, lighting, and fire protection systems.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair pumps, VFD's, AHU's, VAV's, life/safety, and associated mechanical equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment systems and power tools. Keep preventive maintenance records through the CMMS.
  • Operate power equipment and hand tools required of the job (including saws, drills, sanders, power lifts, meters, circuit tracers, pipe threading machines, hydraulic pipe benders, cable pullers, ladders, and scaffolds).
  • Ensure all work is performed following building codes and safety regulations.
  • Train less experienced maintenance staff in electrical construction and maintenance.
  • Maintain 5S workplace organization protocols
  • Perform general laborer, carpentry, and mechanical tasks
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Electrical Technology
  • Experience as a journeyman electrician and electrical licensure required
  • Experienced with building codes, NFPA and OSHA standards.
  • 5+ years' experience with building systems
  • Must perform daily responsibilities with a safety-first mindset
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work day, evening, night, weekend, overtime, and on-call shifts.
  • Willingness to work overtime with minimal advance notice.
  • Bend, stand, climb, crawl, and lift at least 50 pounds. Work is frequently performed on ladders or in awkward positions.
  • Work in a team environment and on independent assignments.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Travel (5%)

Salary: $70,000-75,000
