Job Title: Electrical Superintendent

Reports to: Project Manager

Salary Range: $36-40/ Hour DOE

Schedule:

· Normal daytime schedule

· Occasional work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays

· Ability to travel to remote work-sites is required

Job Description: The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for maintenance, repair, and new construction electrical oversight for commercial and industrial projects, to include both prevailing wage and private projects.

Qualifications:

· Ability to oversee and participate in the management of multiple projects at one time.

· Possess a good knowledge base of industrial controls.

· Develop and employ effective problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques with industrial projects.

· Analyze, interpret, and develop documents to include equipment and material submittals.

· Ability to research, interpret and estimate change orders.

· Thorough knowledge regarding theories, principles, and practices of commercial/industrial electrical systems new construction and maintenance and repair.

· Ensures the occupational health and safety of assigned employees in accordance with the state and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and practices.

· Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with other departments as required.

· Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe programs.

Experience:

· Five (5) years of position-related experience required. Supervisory experience in both commercial and industrial environments is desirable.

· Five (5) years of industrial and commercial construction experience preferred.

· History of leading teams of 5+ individuals at a time

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in related field or a four-year apprenticeship program in a related field. Additional or alternate qualifying experience may be substituted and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Required License: Must possess and maintain a current and satisfactory driving record. No reckless driving and DUI within the last 7 years. No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years. Operates company vehicles and equipment on a regular basis.
