Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Lead team huddles to ensure effective communication, planning and resource use
- Ability to apply electrical and mechanical knowledge to equipment.
- Ability to learn equipment to become subject matter expert.
- Preferred by not required knowledge of CNC machine controllers. (Facility has Makino, Matsurra, Hurco, Yasda, Makino and Mazak for reference)
- Preferred by not required minimum of 1-5 year’s-experience in performing maintenance of CNC Machines;
- Perform electrical/mechanical repairs on machines.
- Support with scheduling PM, reading report, diagrams and drawings;
- Able to work with complex NC machine up to and including 5 axis;
- Troubleshoot and Identify, replace parts as necessary;
- Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues;
- Coordinate with external suppliers and maintenance companies to ensure timely and accurate completion of work;
- Work based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions;
- In conjunction with production team, will support continuous improvement of development of Planned Maintenance (PM) instructions and schedules to prevent failures;
- Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instruction and troubleshooting guides.
- Demonstrate a high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical aptitude and repair abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Knowledge of CNC machine design and operation.
- Knowledge of and experience with electrical test equipment, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
Requirements:
- High school diploma plus 1-5 years of electromechanical maintenance experience;
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
- Ability to comprehend given instructions.
- Ability to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Reading, writing and general math skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a group (team) environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Attention to detail.
