POSITION SUMMARY

Finisher performs basic practices and procedures to apply finish coating in any of the following areas: Backpaint, Silkscreen, Photoetch or Laser Paint on various light panels for aircrafts.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Continuously improve products and processes and participates in quality improvement teams when appropriate.

Responsible for ensuring on-time delivery to the customer by maintaining productivity and following department schedules.

Recommend ways to save money and cut unnecessary costs.

Responsible for satisfying the needs of internal and external customers by responding to customer requests, understanding customer requirements and building successful, productive customer relations.

Learn proper spray techniques.

Learn how to mix paint.

Learn how to maintain spray equipment.

Learn how to screen print.

Operate laser.

SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Accurately completes all related paperwork and wanding functions.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Reacts to change productively and handles other duties as required.

Requires High school diploma or equivalent.

Requires six months painting or production experience or training.

Good hand/eye coordination.

Ability to read and understand routings.

Lifting of 10 lbs. frequently and standing 50% of the day required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

No direct supervisory responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
