Electronics Test Technician

Hire: Direct Hire

Location: Sodus, NY

Position Summary:

Dynalec Corporation is seeking an Electronics Test Technician. The Electronics Test Technician is a member of the Quality Assurance team and plays a key role in testing and troubleshooting production electronics components and assemblies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Test and inspect circuit boards and final electronic products, including amplifiers and alarm systems
• Qualification testing of communication equipment and systems
• Perform automated test equipment troubleshooting
• Test system setup and training
• Provide technical support to customers on site and over the phone
• Develop Automated Test Equipment (ATE)

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics preferred; Associate’s degree required
• Ability to troubleshoot electronics products down to the component level
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams of analog and digital circuits for troubleshooting
• Ability to explain problems to production personnel
• The candidate must have a degree in a technical field and/or military experience
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings

• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to influence all levels and areas of the company
• Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) Working knowledge
• Working knowledge of Dynalec products a plus
• Excellent technical, analytical, and problem‐solving skills
