PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in the fabrication and integration of C4ISR systems into multiple variants of Navy Special Warfare Craft and DOD Tactical Vehicle
• Fabricates cable assemblies per Mil - Stds. along with assembling various mounts integrated into Crafts/Vehicles
• Supports technical team members in the fabrication, integration, testing, operation, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical circuits
• Performs on-site installations of equipment and products

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years of Electronics experience, Connector Fabrication and Repair of Connectors IAW Mil-Std. and soldering experience
• Familiarity with interpreting electronic circuit diagrams, wiring schematics and configurations to support systems
• 5 years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair, maintenance and checkout
• Must have Computer operator skills and knowledgeable of system networking
• This is an full-time, on-site position
• No travel required

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Formal electronics training from: Technical School, Navy A and C military school or equivalent in electronics or communications.
• 5 year electronics apprentice program or 2 years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair, maintenance, troubleshooting and checkout.
• Formal training, to include: Soldering, Connector Fabrication and Repair of Connectors IAW Mil-Std. (Cable Fabrication).
• Technical writing experience, knowledge of SOVT processes, experienced with Microsoft Word and documentation.
• Knowledge with interpreting electronic circuit diagrams, wiring schematics and configurations to support systems.
• Familiarity using various hand tools.
