As an ESL Paraprofessional working in Elanco School District, you have the rewarding opportunity to connect with students and assisting the ESL teacher with classroom, conversational English, for multi-level English Language learners.

In this role, the Assistant will work with the teacher to accomplish the objectives and goals of the curriculum. In doing so, you will have the opportunity to engage your creative abilities assisting the team to provide students with unique and individualized learning activities that promote individual development goals in a safe and positive environment.

Duties Include:

• Assists instructor and students in achieving the objectives of the ESL workplace training program.
• Assists with instruction and classroom management.

• Assists with teaching provided curriculum in classroom
• Promotes and nourishes a positive learning environment.
• Assists the ESL instructor in large group, small group, or individual instruction.
• Communicates with students using conversational English.
• Maintain good communications and working relationships with appropriate staff, employers

**Bilingual English/Spanish/Other preferred****Experience tutoring English Language Learners preferred**

Work Schedule: 9:00am - 3:30pm (Minus 30 minute duty free break) 6 paid hours/day

Duration: 10-month position

Location: Brecknock Elementary - Elanco School District

Pay: From $13.40 per hour
