TEACHERS NEEDED! Sylvan Learning Centers of Round Rock and Austin is seeking certified teachers - Math, Reading & STEM to join our team! We are looking for part-time teachers to work after school and Saturdays to deliver our individualized and prescriptive math and reading programs. You will educate students in one or more subjects at the primary and secondary level in public or private schools.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and educate students in a 3:1 individualized setting
• Implement engaging lesson plans (NO LESSON PLANNING REQUIRED)
• Adhere to established teaching curriculum
• Maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Document and share student grades and evaluations
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• Teaching Certification (Preferred)
• Experience utilizing Ipad technology
• Previous experience in teaching or other educational fields
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to build rapport with students
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• After school
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

All common surfaces are disinfected regularly, social distancing practiced and masks are optional.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Round Rock, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
