Qualifications/Special Skills: Master’s degree, Texas Principal or other appropriate Texas certificate, Instructional Leadership Development (ILD), and T-TESS certification

• Elementary Experience Highly Preferred
• 4+ Years of Elementary Teacher Experience
• 2+ Years of Assistant Principal Experience Required

Groesbeck ISD is located 44 miles East of Waco and encompasses 528 square miles. Most of Groesbeck ISD is located in Limestone County, with small portions in Falls and Robertson Counties. GISD serves students in Groesbeck, Thornton, Kosse, and several communities within the district. The City of Groesbeck is centrally located and is approximately 1½ hours from Dallas and College Station, 2 hours from Austin, and 2½ hours from Houston.

Campus Information:
H. O. Whitehurst houses grades Pre-Kindergarten through 3rd Grade and serves approximately 500 students.

• Exemplifies the components of effective personnel policies, procedures, and practices.
• Recognizes situations that call for independent judgment, and quick thinking.
• Openly communicates with the superintendent, faculty, staff, parents, and community.
