Hours per Day: 6 hours Mon - Thurs / 4 hours on working Fridays
Days per Week: 4 and 5 days
Days per Year: 176 days

Compensation: Per Classified Salary Schedule

Qualifications:
ELL EDUCATION ASSISTANT FOR DISTRICT OFFICE
- Will be resource for all district schools
Preferred ability but not required to interpret accurately between English and Spanish in a conversational setting.
Preferred ability but not required to use Spanish literacy (both reading and writing) skills to support ELL (English Language Learner) students in English acquisition and access to the core curriculum.
Preferred ability but not required to accurately assist with translating written correspondence between school and home.
Ability to work under the direction of the ELL Coordinator with students across the district on an as-needed basis
Strong clerical skills (word processing and data entry) desired
Must qualify or be able to meet standard for highly qualified para-professional
Requirements:

Two (2) years of college coursework or Associate's Degree (may be waived pending successful performance on skills test administered by the District)
High School Diploma or GED required
Person filling this position will have to be fingerprinted
