Overview:
The Regional Veterinary Referral Center (RVRC) is one of the oldest and most well respected veterinary specialty centers in Washington D.C./Northern Virginia area. Our goal is to offer outstanding, compassionate, empathetic and professional veterinary specialty care. Simply stated, we offer the very best care to our patients while understanding the client’s needs and tailoring the care offered to meet these needs.
The RVRC is centrally located near Washington DC and receives referrals from across the Mid-Atlantic region. We offer specialty care in cardiology, emergency/critical care, internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, neurology, radiation oncology, medical oncology and rehabilitative medicine with a licensed veterinary physical therapist. In addition to our specialties, our center houses an I-131 treatment center (Radiocat), ultrasound, digital radiography, linear accelerator, CT and an MRI unit. Our emergency doctors see a wide variety of cases, have the opportunity to cut their own cases, and have guidance from the senior emergency doctors, including our board certified criticalist and medical director, Dr. Megan Kees.
