CORE Employee Benefits Account Manager

This is a wonderful opportunity for career growth in the EB space! The CORE Account Manager’s focus is to support our smallest Employee Benefits clients (less than 10 lives) through day-to-day administration of employee benefits program and assist in the client renewal process.

Essential Functions

  • Day to day management of client services and administration of employee benefit plans including, but not limited to billing resolution, general service requests, claims management, new case implementation and coverage discrepancies
  • Request for Proposal (RFP) preparation and management, including working closely with carriers and our General Agent partners
  • Preparation and communication of client renewals and new business proposals
  • Ensure benefit programs are compliant with federal and state laws
  • Interface with carriers on behalf of the client for policy and contractual changes
  • Document client interactions, maintain electronic files, and database maintenance
  • Collaborate with Employee Benefits team to develop and maintain communication, education, and workflows
  • Attend ongoing education, carrier product and administration training
  • Protects confidential information based on HIPAA and other regulatory privacy laws

Qualifications

  • High School Degree
  • Current Life and Health License, or within one year in position
  • Experience in Employee Benefits plan administration preferred, not required
  • Proficient in software applications commonly used in office environments
  • Strong Excel proficiency
