Ampcus Inc., is an ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, CMMI L3 certified Technology and Business Consulting Services company supporting clients in Commercial, Federal, and State & Local organizations We are currently seeking an Employee Engagement Specialist to join our HR Team in our Corporate Headquarters Office in Chantilly, Virginia.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist the Onboarding Team to ensure a smooth and successful on-boarding experience for our newly hire employees
- Provide support to our employees through employee life cycle (on-boarding thru off-boarding)
- Follow up with employees during the first few months of employment; weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis to ensure successful transition on assignment
- Assist employees in resolving day-to-day issues in a timely manner
- Send monthly email communications to employees on their Birthday & Anniversary.
- Assist payroll with contacting employees late with timesheet submittal
- Maintain and establish relationships with our new and current employees, striving to foment consultant loyalty as evidenced by redeployment of resources as appropriate
- Maintain new hire orientation schedule and ensure all tasks our complete within the first 30-days of employment
- Respond and/or coordinating issues within 24 hours or escalate to appropriate functional area (HR, Payroll, Account Director)
- Acquire referrals for both candidates and new business
- On a monthly basis identify consultants whose assignments are ending in the next 45 days. Provide list to Recruiter so they may begin the marketing process if possible

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel (Intermediate Level Preferred)
Education and Experience:
- Associate Degree in Human Resources, or related field preferred
- 5-7 years of experience resolving complex issues and working in a fast past environment
- Customer Service Experience
- SHRM CP or SCP preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26,359.00 - $72,254.00 per year
