We are looking for a motivated individual to support the resolution of complex employee relations issues.

The ideal Employee Relations Advisor is an influential communicator, critical thinker, effective business partner and possesses advanced experience in employee relations. A few things to note…

  • This position will predominantly support Pacific, Mountain and Central time zones. Candidates who apply will need to work in one of the time zones listed.

  • This position is full-time remote, work-from-home

  • Minimal travel may be required


A day in the life…

  • Investigate a broad-spectrum workplace concerns involving high exposure claims, remotely via telephone or video

  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior level HR and business leaders

  • Provide advice and solutions to senior HR and business partners in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations and in accordance with the company’s best practices

  • Proactively engage HR leaders, Risk and other business partners to ensure timely and efficient resolution of employee concerns

  • Independently analyze, scope and execute investigations providing employment action recommendations based on investigation findings

  • Prepare effective and analytical documentation in timely manner

  • Engage and execute case-management system to document issues and trends

  • Prepare insightful reporting of issue trends and prevention measures

  • Remain versed in our HR best practices and employment laws/regulations

  • Travel may be required to attend key depositions, mediations, arbitrations, trials or meetings and to conduct witness interviews or HR training sessions

You own this if you have…

  • 3+ years of direct and relevant experience in handling and resolving employee issues through consultation and investigation

  • Desire to contribute to our thriving ER team while operating independently under remote management

  • Ability to work Pacific, Mountain and Central time zones

  • Strong project and time management skills with ability to multi-task and manage multiple investigations and projects to completion

  • Confidence in your ability to successfully navigate through difficult discussions with employees on every level in the company

  • Ability to persuasively communicate detailed facts, yet manage through uncertainty and ambiguity

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office

  • HR certification or Bachelor’s degree in legal, HR or related field preferable
