Manages the employee relations programs and human resources policies for UF Health Shands, UF Health Psychiatric and Rehabilitation Hospitals and UF Health Physicians in order to promote and provide a strong employer-employee relations framework and environment. Maintains responsibility for interpretation of human resources policies, union contract language and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Investigates and responds to all FCHR, EEOC, civil or regulatory agencies and requests. Is responsible for managing employee activities, including employee recognition programs, annual employee Milestone Awards Banquets and diversity celebrations.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's of Science in human resource management or related liberal arts discipline required. Master's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• Five to ten years of progressively responsible experience in human resources required.
• Experience and/or familiarity with managing collective bargaining contracts and union relations preferred.
• Working knowledge and experience in managing compliance with local, state and federal employment regulations, including, but not limited to, EEO, ADA, ADEA and FMLA, with strong knowledge of OFCCP regulations and requirements.
