Essential Tasks/Duties:

  • Post all CWP job openings, internally and externally. Communicate with Managers for all posting requirements.
  • Maintain postings daily through Applicant Tracking System.
  • Create flyers for key positions/promotions/bonuses to post on Social Media.
  • Maintain Sign-on/Referral bonus contracts.
  • Contact all new hires to initiate onboarding appointment. Make new hire packets and complete all necessary new hire paperwork and give instruction on orientation process.
  • Keep Managers updated as needed with stages of their new hires.
  • Maintain Pending Employee Checklist with each new hire to ensure all tasks are completed before hire.
  • Keep in constant communication with the Director of Education and Employee Health Nurse for all pre-employment processes.
  • Create file for each new hire. Organize all completed forms and start Pre-employment checklist.
  • Follow up with new hires as needed to set up fingerprint appointments, obtain immunization records, two forms of identification.
  • Enter new hires into CHRC or ESS.
  • Onboarding Coordinator will perform additional ‘checks’ on new hires including: OIG/OMIG, Streamline, Nurse Aide Registry, Sex Offender Registry, ESS, SEL/SCR, Office of Professions.
  • Ensures all new hire files contain all required paperwork.
  • Monitor ESS/SEL/SCR results and print for file
  • Inputs employee information into payroll system i
  • Report new hires to Department of Taxation.
  • Check CHRC daily for new determinations/arrest after hires/anything requiring attention and forwards to Director of Recruitment who will notify managers immediately.
  • Performs paper audit checks on each file and follows up with employee for anything missing and puts in cabinet.
  • After employees are terminated from matrix by HR Assistant; terminates employees within 24 hours (whenever possible) out of all other applicable areas, i.e. CHRC.
  • Create packets, new hire badges and attend orientation to present the HR segment for all new hires.
  • Maintain Job Descriptions as needed.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
