Eugene, Oregon

Considered one of the most desirable communities in Oregon, Eugene is characterized by friendly neighbors, beautiful landscapes, abundant outdoor activities, the arts, and Pac-12 sports. Eugene has something for everyone.
Home to the University of Oregon, Eugene has all the amenities and charm of a major university town. Coastal resorts, the Cascade Mountains, and the Oregon wine country are all within an hour. The great city of Portland is close enough to spend the day. A regional airport provides daily service to many West Coast cities. The Willamette River runs through downtown and merges with the McKenzie River north of town. There’s a high percentage of professionals in Eugene, including doctors, lawyers, architects, and educators. One third of the city’s population has completed four or more years of college. The sports-minded can also enjoy year-round Pac 12 sports. Coastal resorts are an hour away, as is the Oregon wine country and skiing in the Cascades. The city of Portland is a just two-hour drive away.
