You must apply, translate, and communicate basic information from our engineering to production lines in a clear and concise way to guarantee an organized building process. Goal to ensure timely and accurate order processing. You will work within our Data Center division.

You will report to our Business Unit Manager - Cloud Solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following description represents major activities of this job. Assignment of tasks may vary according to need and to company discretion.

Implement MiniBOMs to the Data Center SAP process.

Work with WinShuttle (or other transfer software) to automate BOM transfers from Engineering.

Work with Manufacturing and Product Engineers to align/validate/improve part routings.

Work with IT and Engineering to create structure and update SAP Variant configurators.

Create Technical Documents such as Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Manuals. Assembly Project Submittal documents.

Process ECRs.

Support transfer/maintenance of BOM between plants.

Enter product structure for parts and assemblies according to Engineering BOM into SAP system.

Check assembly and part drawings per drafting packets.

Check bills of material for newly created or revised drawings from Designer packets.

Check assembly and parts drawings per sketches.

Must be flexible, problem solving oriented, acceptable to change and display initiative to learn and make improvements as necessary. Coordinate multiple projects at the same time.

Must be able to communicate effectively and work in a group environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in computers.
• Can use Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of SAP and its functions.
• Can interpret drawings and check for accuracy.
• Manufacturing Production knowledge.
• Basic CAD knowledge is a plus.
• You must be motivated and mechanically inclined.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience and the ability to work with drafting techniques, blue prints, and shop mathematics.
