Our client is a FANTASTIC global leader in industrial automation and communication products and is looking for a 2nd shift Engineering Technician with at least 1 year of experience. The role is contract to hire as the team is looking to grow and develop.

HOURLY POSITION WITH OVERTIME AVAILABLE!

Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment.

If you have experience reading schematics and prints and have experience in running wires!

responsibilities:

• Interpret internal and customer documentation (drawings, specifications, work orders, schematics, and others)

• Perform basic mechanical assembly of components on panels and cabinets

• Assemble and disassemble doors and accessories from pre-assembled cabinets

• Aid higher level Engineering Technicians in their duties as requested/assigned

• Perform basic low-voltage wiring, power wiring and signal wiring

• Select correct low-voltage wiring, power wiring and signal wiring

• Strip, crimp, and secure wire ends

• Select and apply wire labeling

• Select and apply component and cabinet labeling

• Select correct wiring securing devices

• Aid Associate technicians as required based on work load and requested/assigned
