Job description

This position is for an entry level fab shop position you will start out on the saw and work your way up. No experience necessary. Position includes being able to read a tape measurer and learn quickly. Must be able to learn and understand drawings and cut lists. Weld shop experience a plus, but not required. On-the-job training provided. There will be opportunities to learn to weld and fabricate. This position requires the ability to stand, bend, and lift as needed for long periods of time. The position also requires the ability to read blueprint drawings with attention to detail. Must have a proven record of good attendance and work performance.

Responsibilities:

• Must be coachable and willing to learn essential job functions.
• Able to operate and/or use related equipment and tools used in a weld/fabrication shop.
• Perform work in an industrial setting with exposure to heat, cold, industrial odors, fumes, chemicals, dust and smoke.
• Able to work in a team oriented environment using time wisely and be self-motivated in safety, quality, cleanliness, organization and production.
