Job Responsibilities:
Seneca Resources is currently seeking an Advisor for an outstanding career opportunity in the Environmental Engineering group.
The position will be based in Pennsylvania in Williamsport, Mansfield, Wellsboro, Brookville, Kane or Pittsburgh. The Advisor will serve as an integral member of the Environmental Engineering team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
Provide senior technical support for a variety of projects, including site investigation/remediation, methane migration, spill response.- Manage, design, execute, and supervise multidisciplinary projects, including Site Investigations and Remediations, development of Conceptual Site Models, Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Site Assessments, Regulatory Compliance, and Permitting.
- Prepare and/or provide a senior review of technical correspondence, project scope and cost proposals, technical reports, memorandums, work plans, and project specifications.
- Project management and execution, including the development and maintenance of project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and coordination of team members
- Communicate effectively with peers, management, external stakeholders, consultants, and regulators; demonstrate strong written, verbal, computer and interpersonal skills.
- Train, mentor and develop junior and intermediate staff.
- Prioritize schedule to accomplish tasks for time-sensitive deliverables.
- Comply with Seneca’s EHS policies, standards, and procedures to achieve environmental, health and safety excellence and ensuring that staff are taking a proactive leadership role in managing EHS for assigned areas of responsibilities.

- Professional Competency: Track record with environmental project management. Experience with Pennsylvania Act 2, Methane Migration, and Department of Environmental Protection Oil and Gas regulations strongly preferred.

- Potential Travel: Travel to project sites located within Pennsylvania approximately 10-25% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Soil Science, or an applicable engineering or natural sciences field
- Strong technical skills pertaining to site investigation/remediation projects
- Field and project management experience conducting site investigation/remediation projects
- Exceptional organization, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing environmental projects for oil and gas operators in Pennsylvania
- Prior experience with fractured aquifer systems in Pennsylvania
- Experience with state regulators with respect to the environmental aspects of oil and gas regulations (i.e., Chapter 78a)
