Job Summary The EHS Manager is auditing for inspecting all locations to identify environmental, health and safety risks and the development/implementation of policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment at all Steel King Industries, Inc. locations.

Supervisory Responsibilities None. General Duties/Responsibilities

• Audit the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
• Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
• Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company. * Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
• Monitors EHS policies and procedures for compliance.
• Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings.
• Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
• Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
• Works with outside EHS consultants and Worker’s Compensation Insurance and Broker, as necessary.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.

• Ability to travel up to 20%. Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required, Master’s degree desirable.

• Three to five years of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.

• Must follow rules and regulations regarding safety.

• Lead safety meetings.

• Assist management as necessary to assure all employees are abiding by safety rules Personal Attributes Needed
