Overview

Goldie Associates is seeking an experienced and highly conscientious full-time Environmental Specialist to work in our Seneca, SC office. A BS in a Biology, Chemistry, or Environmental field is desired.

The mission of the Environmental Specialist is to utilize their existing skillset and knowledge to perform various environmental projects including pretreatment program updates, local limit calculations, permit renewals, hazardous waste compliance, SDS reviews and write-ups, and answering regulatory questions. The Environmental Specialist will also project manage pretreatment program administration projects and assist Pretreatment Coordinators in review and administration of pretreatment programs for clients.

Responsibilities

• Determine what tasks need to be accomplished to meet client's regulatory compliance issues and be able to complete those tasks
• Review regulations and communicate with regulatory agencies
• Work as a team member to complete environmental compliance projects
• Communicate effectively with clients

Education and Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Environmental Science and at least four years of experience working in environmental compliance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
