IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

• Previous industrial, construction, oil & gas or railroad experience
• Ability to travel extensively and be willing to be 100% committed – this is not a job, it’s a lifestyle and takes commitment and work ethic
• Ability to wear a respirator;
• Ability to travel up to 85% of the year, up to 3-4 weeks away from home as business demands require;
• Valid driver’s license or State Issued ID; with good driving record that meets insurance guidelines
• TWIC Card required.
• Must live within 45 minutes of the facility in Saginaw, TX

POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Ensuring the health and safety of the crew, customer, and site by adhering to safety policies and procedures by identifying, communicating and mitigating hazards
• Taking an active role on crews by participating in both scheduled and emergency response-based projects
• Assisting in loading of equipment such as hoses, chemicals and other equipment and supplies for project needs
• Performs work using high-pressure water blasting equipment to clean heavy industrial equipment (pipes, boilers, tanks, heat exchangers, bundles, etc.);
• Cleans work area and equipment after work is completed;
• Works in atmospheres with low clearances confined spaces and at heights;
• Assists in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps and general work area;
• Being able to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting up to 50lbs
• Performs labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the day;
• The support of various environmental projects ranging from, but not limited to:

Confined Space Entry – CSE

Environmental remediation

Waterway response

Hazardous materials clean up

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER or ability to obtain
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to perform physical labor under direction of crew leads
• Ability to respond to out of town projects as needed
• Ability to speak, read, and write English sufficiently;
• 2-5 years’ experience in this type of role.
