Job Description
The Optum Enterprise Epic Services analysts will support our new Nashville, TN office to establish and grow our emerging support service line. Analysts will serve as a liaison between end-users, project team members and other Information Management resources while providing exemplary customer service and Epic application support in their assigned Epic module(s). OEES team members will help position Optum as a center of excellence for application management services.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases (e.g. design, build and testing) of small to medium size application projects including Epic software upgrades, adoption of new Epic functionality and/or significant enhancements to integrated workflows
- Provide Epic product function expertise for the design, build, and testing for assigned module(s), including but not limited to Radiant
- Collaborate with end users to design, scope and build Epic enhancements and configure system build to resolve incidents in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Provide technical and or clinical consultation including application configuration and integration with third party applications. Review, analyze, and evaluate system needs to develop recommendations for customers
- Develop, support and maintain workflow documentation, test scripts and configuration guides for core pieces of application functionality
- Perform daily monitoring of applications in production use; including 24/7 on call coverage as required
- Work with trainers to develop and maintain application specific training curriculum and materials
- Develop strong relationships with operational stakeholders, customers and business partners

Required Qualifications:
- At least one active Epic certification(s) with proof of certificate number(s)
- 3+ years of experience with Epic build experience designing physician, nursing and ancillary workflows
- Ability to travel up to 10% annually, USA domestic locations. Travel may be lower depending on project requirements

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree obtained
- Current certification Epic certification in Cupid or Cadence
- Obtained current 2019 NVT (New Version Training) and Epic CEE (Continued Epic Education) that must be completed to maintain certifications, proficiencies, and badges
- Experience with PACs support and maintenance
- Proficiency with Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Ability to demonstrate and have a history of team management (informal or formal), cross-team communication and leadership skills
Key Competencies:

- In-depth knowledge of Epic EMR and the full implementation lifecycle of Epic’s suite electronic medical record applications from conception through development into production

- Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong internal relationships as well as motivate and inspire other team members through strong consultative skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
