3 Kings Construction is a family owned and operated site development firm with over 35 years of experience in earthworks and underground utilities in the private and public sectors. We are growing our team in the Virginia area and would like to add a Commission-Based Equipment Rental Specialist to our team.
The Equipment Rental Specialist is an inside sales role responsible for procuring and supporting telephone and web-based customers with all types of construction/industrial equipment. This position is considered the Company’s front line of contact with the customer, whose purpose is to understand customer equipment needs, negotiate and place orders. The role also requires strong administrative skills and an ability to always deliver customer satisfaction through a professional attitude.
Education or experience that prepares you for success:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver’s license required
- Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools & equipment
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:
- Previous equipment rental industry experience
- Strong customer service & telephone skills
- Solid computer and administrative skills
- Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. OVERVIEW:
Job Type: Contractor (1099)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
Pay: Starting from at least $2,500 in commissions based on monthly rental volume.
Work Locations (Virginia): Home-Based.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
- Must have verifiable references
- Sales experience preferred
- Heavy Equipment Knowledge a plus
Education/Experience:
- Two (2) years of verifiable commission-based, sales experience.
- Experience in loading and securement of heavy construction machinery and vehicles, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
- Basic knowledge of industrial equipment.
Certificates and Licenses:
- Valid Driver's License
