Position Summary
The Supply Chain Business Analyst will provide oversight, training and project management skills related to supply chain planning and operations to manufacturing sites in support of a company-wide rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations(D365F&O). As a key member of the cross-functional continuous improvement team responsible for supporting previously migrated sites within HBD businesses, the Supply Chain Business Analyst role requires understanding of all aspects of the production control function, item data, and procurement and sourcing processes at the strategic and transactional levels.
This is a crucial role on the multi-year business transformation project that will require collaboration among cross-functional teams in multiple physical locations and management of both internal resources as well as external partners. It will require exceptional analytical and organizational skills, results focus, and a clear understanding of Supply Chain and Operations activities in a manufacturing environment. The ERP Supply Chain Specialist will report to the ERP Program Manager and will be based in Dublin, Ohio with travel to our manufacturing locations up to 35% of the time.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and lead all continuous improvement projects related supply chain and operations activities for the Microsoft Dynamics 365F&O for a migrated division.
- Function as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for supply chain and operations to the supported business division and coordinate activities for support team members related to managing product offerings, item data, vendor data and supply chain functions.
- Ensure the design and implementation of the ERP system enables efficiency, ease of administration, visibility, and optimization of supply chain functions.
- Work with ERP Program Manager and site or division level operational leaders to develop and implement aligned product and customer strategies and processes across multiple locations.
- Support ERP project initiatives related to master planning, production control, MRP, plan for every part, materials management, safety stocking and forecasting.
- This position will require regular travel to our manufacturing locations up to 35% of the time.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Transportation/Mobility Management, or a related business field.
- 2+ years of Supply Chain or Operations experience in an industrial manufacturing business.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/ 365F&O is preferred. Experience with implementations of other ERP programs(IFS/JDE/Oracle/SAP) also a plus.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations planning and forecasting, material requirements planning and production delivery activities in a manufacturing business.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders and end users with an adaptive style, influencing skill and change management orientation.
- Strong tactical, problem solving and executional skills and project management experience
- Advance technical skill with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
