The Escrow Analyst II – The position is primarily responsible for the timely administration of advanced requirements related to insurance, taxes and escrow accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of mortgage insurance details in the servicing system and other tracking mechanisms.
  • Assist with working all aspects of insurance and problem resolution.
  • Perform research complex client-related escrow escalations.
  • Respond to internal and external audits.
  • Manage assigned pipeline to ensure all flood exception items are worked accurately and processed in a timely manner.
  • Liaise between all third-party vendors and perform quality control reviews of each.
  • Other escrow responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Manage Vendor to ensure timely payment of real estate taxes, maintenance, and updating tax escrow details.
  • Providing timely turnaround for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) mortgage insurance payments to the applicable companies(s).
  • Manage the vendor to ensure timely procurement and accurate processing of property tax refunds.
  • Manage Vendor to ensure timely payment of insurance premiums, including but not limited to, hazard, flood, and lender-placed insurance and lender-placed insurance refunds.
  • Maintenance of Mortgage Insurance escrow details and payment processing and reconciliation.
Requirements:
  • Proven 1 year of escrow servicing experience in a banking or mortgage company.
  • Attention to accuracy, working with numbers, and strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to create and use Excel spreadsheets while mastering V-Lookup and Pivot tables to manage data collected.
  • Client-centered focus.
  • Ability to work independently and perform oversight of Escrow Analyst I.
  • Excellent listening, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of all escrow functions and workstations in a MSP platform environment.

Required Computer and Software Competencies

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Strong experience with mortgage servicing systems (LPS/MSP desired) and mortgage
    terminology.

Education

  • High School diploma required with some college or structured mortgage servicing training preferred.
