The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team of passionate professionals as the Esports Administrator for our Association located in Round Rock, Texas.

The YMCA of Central Texas operates summer camps that provide high energy, high adventure activities creating memories that last a lifetime.

We are a not-for-profit services Association focusing on mission driven initiatives, with a vision of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities throughout Williamson, McLendon & Burnet Counties. Our organization is home to the largest school age child care provider in Williamson, McLendon & Burnet Counties as well as health and fitness programs that improve the quality of life for over 45,000 members ranging from preschool through senior citizen.

Under the direction of the VP of Operations, EAST, the Esports Administrator will plan and deliver Esports programming throughout the Association and through scholastic partnerships in our community.

The Esports Administrator ensures every user has an exceptional gaming experience!

Role and responsibilities:

• Develops and plans new Esports programming for the YMCA of Central Texas
• Assists with program marketing
• Maintains strong relationships and provides Esports support to school districts utilizing YMCA afterschool care
• Plans and implements new programming with community and Org mission in mind
• Strong communication skills; Able to consistently and regularly communicate with partnering school districts and Association branches
• Oversees general operations of Esports leagues and tournaments for the Association
• Works with Branch Program Directors to ensure positive and inclusive gaming experience
• Recruits gamers; Provides Supervision, direction and support
• Trains and assists users in operating gaming platforms
• Responds and interacts with users via email, online chat and social media
• Build network of gamers to become active members of the Y Esports program
• Maintain knowledge of featured, new and upcoming games

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Game Art & Design, Recreation, Business Management, Communications or a related field.
• Highly motivated, organized, personable, enthusiastic displaying leadership abilities.
• Three or more years of experience coaching and coordinating esports at the High School or Collegiate level
• Five or more years of coaching/teaching in a sports environment
• Are adaptable, flexible, and enjoy variety in your work environment
• Serve as a leader in the Annual Giving campaign and other fundraising initiatives;
• Model the YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility; implement character development and the YMCA core values in all programs and all aspects of Center operations
• Must be able to pass background and drug screening

Salary: $45,000-$53,790.98 DOE

The YMCA of Central Texas offers a comprehensive benefits package including pay commensurate with skills and experience; Medical/Dental/Vision options, LTD/Life Insurance, Paid-time off for Vacation, Sick and Holiday, Tuition Assistance, Family Membership to YMCAs in Williamson County, program discounts, including Child Care and 12% company paid Retirement after two years of full-time service and meeting vesting rules.
