Estimator
A Corry Manufacturer is looking for an Estimator to work closely with their customers to develop quotes. The ideal candidate will be computer proficient with strong math skills, the ability to read blueprints, and the knowledge to assist the company with streamlining its processes. Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers and engineers to verify the job is interpreted properly and within the company’s abilities
- Develop cost estimates, including labor, material, and internal sun-tier processing.
- Ensure the accuracy of the bid
- Receive approval for the bid from company managers
- Streamline processes
- Verify the quote for accuracy through coordination with the customer
- Communicate with the engineers and production team to keep the customer informed throughout the process
Qualifications and Skills
- Engineering experience preferred
- One year of experience in a similar role
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong math skills
- Proficient computer skills
Benefits/Compensation
- Pay rate is $40,000 per year based on experience
- Full Time
- 1st Shift Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
- Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts.
- Benefits while employed through Career Concepts
- Temp-To-Hire with the possibility of Direct Hire
