Starting Rate: $17.85-$21.00Artesia Christian Home needs PT Medication Assistant for the 3-11 shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Perform basic resident care skills, such as assisting with dressing and undressing or other ADLs as necessary, serving food trays to ill residents, taking and recording vital signs, responding to resident call lights, bathing and/or shower assistance when needed, assisting with safe resident transfers
Distribute medications according to doctor's orders and following all procedures and regulations as trained
Observe and report changes in resident's conditions to Wellness Coordinator
Follow all procedures and regulations
High school diploma and previous work with elderly are desirable. Applicants must have physical strength and endurance, communicate in English, and the ability to establish effective relationships with residents and fellow workers.

Requirements/Responsibilities
Performing basic resident care such as bathing, dressing and other ADL's as needed.
Distributing medications per doctor's orders and documentation of doing so.
Taking vital signs.
Reporting change of conditions to nurses, and following procedures and meeting regulations as trained.
