Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) supports the University's mission by providing access to UC Santa Cruz, acting as fiscal stewards, and managing the sustainable planning, design, and operation of safe and equitable bicycle/pedestrian programs, transit services, parking, and other transportation-related needs. TAPS is dedicated to being innovative, sustainable, and customer-focused providers of access to UC Santa Cruz.

JOB SUMMARY

Under direction of the TAPS Sales Manager, incumbent analyzes, plans, coordinates and provides administrative and staffing support for the TAPS Event Parking Services, Construction Parking, and the Sales Office. Major duties include responding to requests for services, analysis of both special events or construction projects, providing event parking services on-site, and developing plans to accommodate those events with a broad spectrum of services (e.g., parking, permits, traffic direction, wayfinding assistance, etc.). Also develops mitigation measures for event-related traffic impacts on the campus community and back-up support for other Sales Office services.
