Job Overview
- Assists the Events team in the day-to-day servicing of conference and/or convention groups
- Responds to inquiries and refers guest/clients to the appropriate Sales & Events Manager as necessary; ensures timely follow up on the same business day
- Provides administrative support to the Events Manager
- Assists in coordinating all details with the Events Manager while groups are in house
- Communicates with all hotel departments as appropriate. Ensures prompt attention to time sensitive requests by hotel colleagues
- Facilitates tasks or requests as asked by guests such as; room set-ups and audio visual, etc.
- Attends daily Banquet Event Order (BEO) and other meetings as assigned
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1-2 years administrative support experience, additional hotel front desk experience is preferred
- Must be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate intuitive customer service and interpersonal skills
- Communicates clearly, concisely, and openly in all interactions
- Has exceptional attention to detail, organizational, analytical and time management skills
- Multi-tasks and prioritizes in a fast-paced work environment.
- Is technologically savvy, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Delphi, HIS/Epitome and Opera Preferred.
Education
