The Events Coordinator coordinates the use of College facilities for college-related and rental/community activities at all campuses. This position will prepare rental agreements; resolve room and time conflicts; coordinate additional services for activities; negotiate, approve and implement rental contracts within guidelines; and summarize charges for invoicing.

The Events Coordinator coordinates the use of College facilities for college-related and rental/community activities at all campuses. This position will prepare rental agreements; resolve room and time conflicts; coordinate additional services for activities; negotiate, approve and implement rental contracts within guidelines; and summarize charges for invoicing.
Other duties include, but are not limited to:
- Respond to inquiries from the community regarding rental costs, guidelines and regulations for renting facilities.
- Assist in coordinating and promoting college sponsored events.
- Utilize multiple software systems and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in event coordination.
- Respond to customer complaints and concerns.
- Train users on the scheduling software and provide support for users.
- Develop forms and reports for consistent reporting of facility utilization.
- Provide on-site support for facility rentals, occasionally requiring an alternative schedule working mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience in a customer service or related field are required, as well as:
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized
- Problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience and skill in managing multiple priorities
- Computer literate and skilled in working with databases

Work Hours:
Core hours are Monday- Friday 7:00 am -4:00 pm; occasional alternative hours including evenings and weekends may be necessary.
