Event Floater
Principal responsibility is to assist all Event Captains and Management to execute all contracted events efficiently & effectively at The Madison Event Center and Hotel Covington while providing all guests with an exceptional experience.
Duties:
- Remain guest focused while performing all assigned duties before, during or after an event
- Reports directly to Operations Managers
- Assist multiple events in one shift
- Assist in set up and tear down of event spaces
- Assist with dinner service as well as passing hors d'oeuvres and beverages
- Assist with maintaining buffets and coordination of plated dinner service
- Assist Bartenders with restocking before, during and after events
- Accept and put away orders for event products such as linens and dry stock
- Organize and clean back of house areas
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Positive and upbeat attitude and work well with all team members
- Must be 20 years of age
- Must be able to work well unsupervised
- Must be able to work weekends until 3:00 am.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull 100lbs
- Punctual
- Energetic and motivated personality
- Excellent oral communication and listening skills
- Ability to follow directions
Environment:
- Work between 3 separate locations (all within walking distance)
- Work in all weather conditions
- Standing and walking for majority of shift
Uniform Requirements:
- Black pants and long sleeve black shirt
- Black non-slip shoes with black socks

Compensation & Schedule:
- $16 hourly
- Part-time, hours will vary depending on events scheduled
- Eligible for annual review and merit
