Fierce Whiskers is looking to hire a highly motivated, high power Event Coordinator. We are a relatively new whiskey distillery in South Austin, and with our first products hitting the shelves in 2023 and 2024, this is a particularly exciting time to be a part of our growing team.
Position Summary:
The event coordinator will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing a full calendar of events, including daily happenings around the distillery, booking music and other entertainment, creating and coordinating brand partnership events, engaging with the community and working with the marketing team to ensure proper promotion of distillery affairs.
Position Requirements:
- Prior experience with event management and planning
- Capable of managing budgets, ticket sales etc
- Experience working with bands and other artist contracts
- An up-to-date knowledge of Austin and network of contacts
- Highly organized self-starter
- Prior experience with/passion for the spirits industry is a plus but not required
- High Powered
- Creating, coordinating, and executing
About Us:
Fierce Whiskers tasting room opened in September of 2021 and has since been growing our South Austin footprint in preparation for the release of our rye product (Summer 2023) and bourbon (2024). Our distillery sits on 6 acres of land in South Austin, right down the road from Meanwhile Brewing, and every product we sell is distilled, aged and bottled in house.
