Title: Events Manager

Each day, our team works together to produce heartfelt, human-driven content and audience-first, product-driven events for clients like Google, Adidas, McKinsey & Company, YouTube, fitbit, RingCentral, Matterport and Discovery+. With our fast growth and incoming slate of new projects, we are looking for an Events Manager to support our events team.

The Role:

From kickoff to post-event reporting and metrics, the Event Manager will support project leads on multiple work streams such as: registration, communications, content, audience development, asset management, client management, vendor management, event technologies, logistics and design. Events include both in-person and virtual global conferences, live Q&A sessions, on-demand workshops, and intimate executive social functions. Multiple projects occur simultaneously that will require a high level of attention-to-detail and deadline prioritization. They will be responsible for managing deliverables and oversee the attendee journey for memorable guest experiences.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can professionally and accurately convey project information to a wide range of cross-functional teams through meetings, presentations, and weekly reports. They are organized and work independently to sort through the needs of the client and keep timelines and deliverables on track.

Responsibilities Include:

Project Management

  • Report to Project Leads on all assigned deliverables, including project plans, agendas, budgets, communications, vendor procurement, schedules, and detailed notes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, agencies, and industry partners
  • Track production and delivery of assets and content
  • Recommend operational changes to increase efficiency and quality

Audience Development

  • Develop nomination strategies alongside sales teams
  • Audit and manage guest contact information carefully and thoughtfully in accordance to privacy laws
  • Segment and deploy email campaigns
  • Monitor registration status, analyze attendance data, and provide post-event reports

Speaker & Content Management

  • Update event landing pages, agendas, contents and settings
  • Prepare email templates
  • Upload images and video assets
  • Prepare speaker briefs, schedule and run recordings and tech checks
  • Manage all assets including scripts and decks
  • Book recording locations and manage onsite logistics

Event Platform Technical Support

  • Set up and execute technical aspects of live streams, webinars, and video meetings
  • Train clients on our event platforms
  • Guide and moderate guest experiences during live events
  • Quickly troubleshoot and resolve platform issues

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in event management
  • Experience leading a team, assigning tasks and project managing deliverables
  • Experience with event registration and email marketing software
  • Experience with in-person events (conferences, trade shows, executive engagements)
  • 2+ years of experience with virtual events including streaming and webinars
  • High proficiency in working on Google Workspace Apps (Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Chat) and their collaborative features
  • Experience with content management and virtual event solutions such as Cvent, Hopin, HubSpot, or Salesforce

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7-9 years of event management experience, preferably in a high-growth and fast-paced environment and working alongside established brands in tech
  • 4+ years of experience working on virtual event programs
  • 4+ years of experience working with multiple event vendors and agencies

Travel:

  • May be required for on-site/in person events

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
